Well, It's been a while but just to get everyone up to date, Here is what has been going on here. School, work, carpool, church, church, work, carpool, school, and now add in football, football, football.Just kidding, sort of.We had a busy summer and I thought it would slow down once school started but it looks to be just as busy.Josh started his summer off by going to EFY the week after he got out of school. Then a week later, the rest of us started the summer by going on a family trip to Cancun Mexico. Our friends the Eisele's own a condo there and so we went with them. We spent lots of days on the beach and also went over to Chichenitza. We found a senote to swim in and just enjoyed the sun. It was a great vacation. If we ever go again though, I want to see more of rural Mexico. Scott got a chance to use his Spanish quite a bit. After Mexico Josh and Noah both had Scout camps. Josh got to go white water rafting and Noah and Scott attended 11 year old camp. The boys and I did the family Reunion thing. And Scott stayed home and worked. It was great spending time with everyone! Josh also went on a ward youth conference boating trip up in the mountains. Later in July, Daniel, Josh and Noah all went to Minnesota to visit Grandma and Grandpa KumpfDaniel spent the rest of his time working. He is now an installer for "Closets by Design" as an "installer" he gets a commission on the jobs as well as hourly pay. He is still working on saving his money for a mission. He goes to institute on Wed nights after work and is also teaching the 13 year old Sunday school class. Most all of his friends are on there missions so he is working hard to get out there too.Josh spent his extra time working also. He helps a guy in our ward who has a handy man business. He has done everything from landscaping to drywall to painting and insulation. He is a hard worker. He also plays hard. He stays busy with friends and activities.Noah also spent his summer working hard. for about 5 or 6 weeks in a row he folded all 2100 papers for me. He still folds about 700 a week now that school has started. He makes 2cents for every paper he folds. He also puts 25% of every thing he makes into his mission savings. The rest after tithing is for him to spend how he wants. He made a deal with Scott and I that if he earned and saved $250 for a down payment, we would finance the balance of a laptop computer. He got it a few weeks ago. Now he can play all his games and not have to get off the computer when his brothers want to use it. He had it all figured out to the last penny and paper. It has been good to see the boys work hard, and be physically tired at the end of the day.Now that school has started our day starts pretty early, Noah gets up at 4:45(he wants to have the first shower) Josh follows because he has early morning Seminary at 6:00. We decided to read scriptures before seminary so it makes an early morning for all of us. I drop Josh off and head to the gym. Scott, gets up and gets to work early and Daniel heads to work at about 7:00. That usually leaves Noah home alone for a while in the mornings. He doesn't leave for school until around 8:20.So, after the LOVELY pictures of me from the reunion were posted I decided to get serious about my slovenly appearence. I started Weight watchers a little over a month ago and am keeping at it. Now that we have all seen my BEFORE pictures you can look forward to seeing the Afters. Not yet though. Let's just say I'm doing well.

July in Colorado

We had a great 4th. Lazy day. Made cookies and a salad for a cookout at the neighbors house. They have invited us the last two years and we have always had other plans so we decided to go this year. It is his birthday and they make a party of the entire day. Had a nice dinner and visit and then went over to President Polsons (Our Stake President) barn in Sedalia (Small town just 15 minutes north of Castle Rock but still in our ward.) The Sedalia volenteer fire department put on a great fireworks show and use his property by the barn as a staging site. So we had Up front seats. It was a lot of fun and a great show. While we were waiting for them to get started Dave Watt from our ward had brought a couple of potato cannons. Josh had a bunch of fun shooting them but managed to blast his face and singe his bangs. It was really very funny, When we got home John our neighbor was just getting started with his birthday fireworks show. The boys set off some of theirs and had some fun. Daniel had to work all day and then went and hung out with friends. They are trying to get as much time in as possible before they leave for school. They realized the other day that when they get home their friend Austin will be gone on his mission to Madacascar and they won't see him for 3 years.(that includes their mission time.)
Daniel worked up until the last minute. He worked every day this week and had his last day today. Now it is pack and go to Idaho in the morning.
